The bad news is that my oldest and dearest friend of more than twenty years is in the hospital. She walked into a coffee shop Friday afternoon and collapsed. My days have been spent visiting her at the hospital and walking her two adorable but mildly insane dogs. I haven’t been cooking…unless you count boiling pasta, and I haven’t been making much in the way of pictures. The good news is that her heart is strong and, although the road is long, she will recover. I know she will. I intend to fulfill my promise of being more active on my blog in 2012, but not just yet. So I offer you something different to look at. A little Portland street photography.
I’ll be here and I’ll be around. Perhaps you’ll catch of glimpse of Pookie and Harvey soon….
Cheers!

Echoing the other messages – thinking of you and your friend.
Great picture! Reminds me of my Grandma’s neighborhood where I grew up. Hope your friend recovers quickly, and don’t YOU forget to rest up too! :)
Best wishes to your friend. I’m sure your positive thoughts will rub off on her and help her recover.
awesome friend you are. where is this image taken from? NE PDX, or thereabouts. Glad friend is on the mend!
Cheers!
C.
I’m sorry to hear about your friend and will be praying for her quick recovery!
I think a Pookie and Harvey photo is certainly one we will look forward to D! It’s that age old, needing to put the face with the name, thing for me. I’m so happy Beth is making progress and now we are looking forward to a more positive and happy New Year! Love the Portland street photo :)
I hope your friend recovers quickly…thank God you and Adam are there to help her pets, I’m sure that is the best thing you could do for her right now.
hang in there Dina, sending you and your friends good thought!
